Whether you choose to run, jog, or walk the K9 Candy Cane 5K, do it along the beautiful (and paved) Cedar River Trail in Renton with your bestie. If doing athletic things also makes you feel generous, they're hosting a pet food drive to help animals in need!

Seattle Animal Shelter
We don't know of any dogs who can read, but Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation's adoption event at Northgate Mall's Barnes & Noble is probably your best chance at finding one. From 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, meet some of Seattle's cutest adoptable animals. Make sure to look around the store because any purchase made with a Bookfair voucher (including in the B&N Café) will be donated back to the animals!
