Perhaps no one particularly is interested, but this is our "road trip Saturday" to Halifax, about a 2-hour ride from the new "old homestead."
We're planning to do a fair bit of Christmas shopping, along with meeting up with our daughter around the supper hour to partake in the "Evergreen Christmas Festival" on the waterfront. I'm sure dinner and other fun will be part of the night.
We have a hotel room downtown and plan late Sunday morning, to drive an hour or so north from Halifax to Wolfville in the Annapolis Valley region. Again to get more shopping done for the season.
Our plans for Christmas were finalized yesterday afternoon.
Lynn spoke with her mom and surprised her with the news that we would return back to Ontario for Christmas. Lynn and our daughter fly out on December 16. Our daughter will then return back to Nova Scotia on Monday the 19th. Lynn hasn't booked a return ticket yet
I'll fly out on December 22 and return back home on December 28. Lynn may fly back with me, but that is to be determined.
Lynn didn't tell her Mom that our daughter was coming. It will be a HUGE and WELCOME SURPRISE.
So, there you go. Not much of a post, but it is a post nonetheless. Pray for blessings on your Saturday and weekend.
