When a picture is worth a thousand words.
After two and a half years and working non-stop in an environment exposed to hundreds if not thousands of people a day, it finally made an appearance, but it wasn't me.....at first.
In a post, I wrote last Tuesday, Lynn hadn't been feeling very well the past couple of days. On Thursday morning and after seeing no improvement, we thought doing a rapid response test might shed a bit of light.
And it did - big time.
But, not to feel left out of all this fun, I started to get a scratchy throat and headache late Thursday afternoon and into the evening. After slowly hauling my now feverous carcass upstairs to bed Thursday, I was there(in bed) until late Saturday morning. At which point I simply got up and moved the process into a recliner downstairs to again re-fire up the routine of sleep(at least try to + Tylenol-----repeat). The worst part of it was this constant and never-ending pounding headache.
It's now early Sunday morning at the "old homestead" and I'm feeling oh so much better. Still a bit of a headache, but no energy whatsoever.
I had a total loss of appetite since Thursday night(down about 7 or 8 pounds - not the best way to shed a few). We tried to make some dinner Saturday night, but after cooking some chicken and cutting up some broccoli - neither of us had any energy left to do anything with it.
Sunday dinner I guess.
It's hard to say where we picked it up, though I guess it really doesn't matter.
But, at least I think we're on the mend(at least I hope so). This wasn't any fun at all.
