After thinking of the title "Mood Is Everything", I'm not entirely certain that "Mood Is Everything" is the best choice, especially if we're assuming that mood creates an enjoyable experience.
If we've ever been with someone(or God forbid - it was you!) and they've been in a "crappy mood", then the experience might not have been as enjoyable as one may have wished it was.
We do tend to get a fair bit of fog here at the new "old homestead", especially in the early morning hours. I can still be in bed and know it's foggy outside by hearing the fog horn from the lighthouse a kilometre down the road at the harbour. Getting all this fog around our area does create a mood if you will.
I have always even since I was young, loved to be outside when fog would surround everything with this magical and mystical blanket that often would send a slight cool chill throughout your body. I can't really explain why. All I know is the fog sets a certain "mood."
In a way, it makes me feel that I'm part of something far bigger than myself.
Like I've been transported across the ocean and have been plopped in the middle of a pre-dawn eerie and barren English moor period piece. Queue the hounds now!
I realize this is making no sense at all - it's not making much sense to yours truly as I type away at the keyboard.
It is however comforting to know that the world doesn't revolve around me; you; or anybody else. Sorry to burst your bubble on that one. In the morning it can be foggy and have a very "Hound of the Baskervilles" aura to it, but by noon it can be a hot and bright sunny day that suggests the day will be filled with fun and enjoyment. And then who knows what happens after that?
The world; the universe - revolves around something much bigger than us - that's a good lesson to remember.
