This is one of my favorite tiny wildflowers, the "Bicknell's Cranesbill". The name is bigger than the flower. The flower is only about 1/4 inch (6mm) across, but even though so small it really is a beautiful wildflower. It is actually in the geranium family which is hard to believe considering it's small size. But they are a plentiful wildflower enjoying nice sunny or part shady areas, preferring though to be out in more open areas. Each plant will have several flowers on it, which extends it's blooming time. Well, have a great day everyone and God bless!
