Vallejo's Coach Sarna Flag Football League is getting a boost from the community after someone stole the catalytic converter and damaged numerous lines, and then stole the van while they awaited the replacement parts.

Not only is the van a huge loss as it helped tow lots of equipment to games, but also allowed the organization to give kids rides to different events. They're hoping to raise $40,000 to purchase a new van.

"With the spring season beginning on April 2nd at the Vallejo PAL fields, we need all of the support we can get from everyone who is willing to help to be able to afford to get the vehicles we need to properly operate this one-of-a-kind league," said CEO Ryan Sarna on the Facebook page. "We love our families and all of the kids who play. No matter what happens we will maintain our commitment to being a low-cost program that anyone can join regardless of financial ability."
