Avian influenza is back which means, unfortunately, all domesticated birds need to now be locked up.
Having just moved here, our chickens are locked up anyway until they get used to the place.
They are currently in a temporary run covered by a tarp but we are hoping to build something bigger for them.
Unfortunately, we now only have 19 hems due to losing Cupcake a few days after the move.
Moving can be stressful for all animals but especially birds. We were lucky we didn't lose more due to the length of travelling.
But, in other news, do we think Beans is a male? This is one of the chicks we bought back in August and it is miles bigger than all of our other chickens but I'm not 100% whether male or female. Thoughts?
