I did all the things today, and the brain said it was good and let me be happy, if tired. Work wasn't too stressful, the child's new pediatrician said he's growing fine, and the puppy got adequate exercise. I ate the right things, mostly, including not all of the Halloween candy. Just a few pieces...

Oh, and I finally gritted my teeth and rode my horse in the arena, which I haven't done for...awhile. I decided to treat her like a young horse that needs work, not an old soul who is expected to know things, and everything went smoothly enough despite how busy the barn was. I lunged her first, nothing excessive, just a check in and a "please let out all opinions before I mount, please and thank you ma'am." I rode for half an hour, with brief moments when we weren't inverted and completely distracted, moments I felt her stretch and lift and bend...and then I could feel my own stiffness getting in our way. But it's a start, and once my trailer is delivered (someday over the rainbow......) I'll resume lessons with my trainer, but I'd like some progress to show her! Oh, and I finally found Tarma's favorite itchy spot, after almost a year of searching!
