Happy Fall and October! October kicks off the end of year holiday seasons and gives us a fun dose of spirit and magic.

In my children's book series, siblings Reese and Dean get transported to a magical national park, Erutuf National Park. Who wants to journey with them on their third visit to this special place? You can go with them in the next book, Polar Post: An Erutuf National Park Novel. I'm excited for you all to travel to the arctic section of this magical national park and meet the main animal, a polar bear! Maybe the polar bear looks like this one below swimming at the San Diego Zoo?!

By the way, did you know that October celebrates the anniversaries of Yosemite National Park, Death Valley National Park, Joshua Tree National Park, Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, Redwood National Park, North Cascades National Park, Great Basin National Park, Dry Tortugas National Park, Saguaro National Park, Dinosaur National Monument, the White House, National Trails System Act, National Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, and also President Theodore Roosevelt's birthday? Cheers to a fun national parky month!
